This is a basic list of instrument and electronic repairs that we do all the time. If you need something that is not listed here, PLEASE do not hesitate to ask, we specialize in locating (or making!) hard-to-find items.

Basic Guitar/Bass/Banjo/Mandolin Setup (electric or acoustic):
– Adjust neck straightness and bridge height (action)
– Re/shape and re/slot nut slots
– Clean and check all electronics and controls (battery replacement extra)
– Clean and degrease fingerboard, polish and buff frets
– Reseat any loose frets
– Intonate adjustable saddle bridges
– Clean and polish instrument

Basic Guitar/Bass/Banjo/Mandolin Fret dress (electric or acoustic):
– Level and re-crown frets as needed to obtain an even playing surface
– Polish and buff frets
– (Can be combined with a Basic Setup at a reduced price.)

New Nut:
– All 4/6/8/12-slot nut styles and sizes
– Bone, brass, aluminum, synthetic materials (micarta, Tusq, graphite)
– Locking nuts replaced and restored

Unbound neck refret:
– Includes choice of fretwire (any size, stainless or nickel steel wire)
– Level fingerboard as needed
– Maple fingerboard refinishing available

Bound neck refret:
– Includes choice of fretwire (any size, stainless or nickel steel wire)
– Level fingerboard as needed
– Refretting within existing Gibson/Jackson-style binding nubs available

Acoustic top, back, and side cracks and braces:
– Includes humidification as needed, gluing and clamping, cleating
– Finish touch-up available

Cracked neck/headstock repair:
– Gluing and clamping
– Wood or carbon fiber reinforcement available
– Finish touch-up available

Acoustic Bridge Removal/Reglue:
– Safe removal of lifting or cracking bridge
– Correct placement of bridge
– Gluing and clamping
– Finish touch-up available

Electronic work:
– All electric instrument repair, modifications, and upgrades
– Component-level troubleshooting of PCB subassemblies
– Expert tube and solid-state amplifier repair
